from this day forward until death do us part

to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part.

Over the past 10 years statistics show that the number of people getting married has slowly been declining.  The reasons for this varies, some think its an ‘old fashioned’ tradition which is outdated in today’s times and lifestyles.  Whilst others think that the financial obligation is too much to even contemplate.

Weddings can obviously be as big or small as you want, and obviously this can be mirrored on a financial level.  In general there are two types: civil marriage and religious marriage, and typically marriages employ a combination of both.

Personally I am not married, but I can understand why people do it.  To have that one special day when two people declare their love to the world, openly, warmly and forever is very romantic.  To have the people who mean most to the couple there to witness the event is a very special thing.

With the upcoming wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton and maybe even the fictional wedding of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, who knows, maybe it will revitalize peoples interest in getting married!

I love being married.  It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.  ~Rita Rudner

Love seems the swiftest but it is the slowest of all growths.  No man or woman really knows what perfect love is until they have been married a quarter of a century.  ~Mark Twain

So to all of you people who are either thinking about getting married, or actually getting married over the next few years, I wish you all the luck in the world, may the sun shine on your special day and you all live very happily ever after.  And of course if we can be of any help please get in touch via our Wedding Website;

Best Love
